Saskia Ackermann is a visual artist who is also engaged in artistic research and socially engaged projects. In her practice, she explores notions of the public and the common as well as forms of collective engagement and collaboration in art, activism and other fields. She holds an MFA from the Hochschule für bildende Künste (HFBK) Hamburg and studies education sciences at FernUniversität in Hagen. She works in the fields of political and art education.
