Saskia Ackermann works with visual, audio and social material. In her practice, she explores notions of the public and the common as well as forms of collective engagement and collaboration in art, activism and other fields. She holds an MFA from Hochschule für bildende Künste (HFBK) Hamburg and studies education sciences at FernUniversität in Hagen. She also works in the fields of political, media and art education.
